National Sports Day

Students of class IX E and VIII A conducted morning assembly on themes 'National Sports Day' and 'Hope and Positivism' respectively. They paid tribute to Hockey Wizard Major Dhyan Chand, in whose fond memory National Sports Day is celebrated. They also emphasized the importance of having a positive attitude in life, which is one of the success mantras. Our alumna, Ms Inaa Dhingra addressed the students and urged them to foster a healthy bond with teachers.

Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani

Students of IX B conducted morning assembly on the occasion of Sadbhawna Diwas, also known as Harmony Day. The day commemorates birth anniversary of our 9th Prime Minister Sh Rajiv Gandhi. The students took a pledge to spread peace and harmony. The choir group presented a patriotic song on the occasion. Nidhi Singla, school alumna addressed the assembly.

Quiz

Students of class X D conducted morning assembly on the theme 'Building Competitive Edge', highlighting the importance of competitiveness among students. A general knowledge quiz was organised for class XI students on the occasion. Our alumnus Ms Sakshi Aggarwal addressed the students and briefed about the assembly theme. Independence Day

Nothing is more precious than independence and liberty. The same thought reverberated in the special assembly commemorating 71st Independence day of India. Nagasaki Day and Quit India Movement

Strength does not come from physical ability, but comes from an indomitable will’. Mahatma Gandhi Young and vigorous minds of class X B commemorated two significant historical events- Nagasaki Day and Quit India Movement. The presentations by students reminded the assembly about the chaste sacrifice of our freedom fighters. Students of class X A presented morning assembly on International day of World’s Indigenous people.They highlighted the role of famous indigenous people and elaborated this year's theme - Rights of Indigenous People. Addressing the students, Ms.Yoshita Mehan, a notable alumnus, former Vice president and Joint secretary at Daulat Ram College, shared experiences from her school days.

Raksha Bandhan

Raksha Bandhan - an ethereal festival symbolising Indian values was celebrated with great fervour and gaiety at KIIT World School. Students of class XI-F presented a vibrant special assembly on this occasion. There is no tool for development, more effective than the empowerment of women. Class XI D re-emphasized the importance of unshackling women of all bondage in their morning assembly. The students presented the assembly in the form of a skit. They paid tribute to women who have created success stories not only in India but around the world. Kargil Victory Day

Students of class VI-D conducted morning assembly on “Kargil Victory Day” in honour of the war heroes. The Indian Army celebrates Kargil Victory Day every year to pay tribute to more than 500 fellow army men who were killed in 1999 during Kargil war. Our alumnus Nishtha Khanna was present on the occasion and shared her experiences with the students.

The Joy of Giving, Caring and Sharing

Students of VI C conducted morning assembly on 'The Joy of Giving, Caring and Sharing'. A wonderful poem on the theme was recited by them. KIIT alumni Aashira Singh, who has received many and laurels and accolades during her stay in the school, addressed the students.

World Youth Skills Day

Students of Class VII D presented morning assembly on the theme WORLD YOUTH SKILLS DAY. A skit was presented where the need to enhance the skills in youth was highlighted. Our alumni Nikita Kochhar, Assistant Producer at ABP News Network, was present on the occasion and addressed the students.She told the importance of following the rules, regulations and instructions given in the school as they shape their characters and help them in their professional life as well.

Environmental Issues

Students of class VII- B conducted morning assembly on the theme – Environmental Issues. Mr. Aman Wadhwa, a renowned quiz master and alumni, was present on the occasion. He engaged the students by asking different questions on current affairs. A skit competition for class VII was held on environmental issues. The students highlighted various problems like pollution, lack of cleanliness and civic sense in people through their presentation and stressed on how small changes can make a big difference in our liv
