Students of class IX B presented a special assembly on the occasion of World Toilet Day. They sensitized about the need to take care of personal hygiene through a thought provoking nukkad natak.
Students of IX C presented a special assembly on the occasion of Constitution Day to commemorate the adoption of Constitution of India. The students talked about the Preamble and made the audience aware about different Articles. Two of our alumni, Sarthak Sharma and Ritik Arora along with parents of two students were present on the occasion who shared their experiences. Ritik Arora's dance performance was appreciated by one and all. Principal, Dr. Bhatia felicitated all the winners of various inter-school competitions held recently.
Respect is one of the greatest expressions of love. Students of VI A presented a special assembly on the theme 'Being Respectful'. They highlighted the theme through thought, a powerful speech and a heart-warming poem. The students also took an oath that they will show respect to one and all including flora and fauna.
KIIT World School celebrated 73rd Independence Day with great fervour. The celebrations comprised of Flag hoisting by Chief guests Ms.Eva Maria Wuerfl and Mr. Peter Wuerfl, parents of Ms Anna Wuerfl who studied at KIIT during an exchange programme, along with Principal Dr Sangeeta Bhatia, Dean Academics Dr T P Singh, Dean Admin Mr S K Munjal, Senior Headmistress Dr Richa Verma and parents. The cultural programme began with an invocation seeking divine blessings which was followed by a Nukkad Natak highlighting the importance of unity. The dance troupe presented folk dance showcasing cultural diversity of our country.The atmosphere was filled with vibrant energy when the school band presented a medley of patriotic songs. While addressing the audience, Dr Bhatia urged them to remember the true meaning of freedom and be responsible future citizens.

"The youth is the hope of our future." Students of class IX-B celebrated International Youth Day to empower the youth to make positive contributions to their communities and nations. They apprised the audience about the role of youth. It was followed by a powerful mime act and an inspiring poem which highlighted the youth's ability to bring about a revolutionary change in the society.
The World Senior Citizen's Day is celebrated on the 21st of August each year. It was first proclaimed by the General Assembly of the United Nations on December 14, 1990. The celebration took place for the first time on 1st October 1991. Students of VIII A presented a special assembly on the occasion of Janamashtmi. There is a popular saying in Bhagavad Gita- “Whenever there will be a predominance of evil and decline of religion, I will reincarnate to kill the evil and to save the good.” The students emphasized the importance of the teachings of Lord Krishna as the festival of Janmashtami encourages goodwill and to dissuade malice. The day is observed as a sacred occasion that celebrates togetherness and faith.
